MILAN, Italy — 22 January 2026 — The Scientology Volunteer Ministers have brought their iconic yellow tent in Milan, creating a public, walk-up space for hands-on assistance and one-to-one guidance, alongside everyday “Tools for Life” that can be applied to daily problems. Already seen in major cities such as New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Rome and Naples, the Yellow Tent is designed to let residents speak with trained volunteers and learn straightforward methods for handling stress, improving communication and resolving conflicts, as well as support after personal emergencies.

Volunteer Ministers are local citizens trained through 19 introductory courses covering communication, relationships, study skills, workplace challenges and conflict resolution. The approach is focused on the individual: identify the issue and offer a step that can be used immediately.

In Italy, Volunteer Ministers have supported communities during the 2009 L’Aquila earthquake and the 2012 Emilia-Romagna earthquakes, and have also assisted during recent floods in Marche (2022) and Romagna (2023), working with local services and civil-protection partners to help remove mud and debris and restore access.

In Milan, activity expanded during the pandemic period with sanitisation initiatives and distribution of basic necessities.
